Our Story

Canada's First Lyocell-Cotton Face Towel.

Born From a Mother's Search for Something Better.

Lydia is a mother of four. Her husband is a neuroscience researcher at Toronto's SickKids hospital. Together, they share one conviction: what touches your skin — and your family's skin — matters deeply.

When Lydia looked closely at the disposable face towels on Canadian drugstore shelves, she found the same problem everywhere. Almost every product was made with standard viscose — and almost no one was talking about why that was a problem.

The Problem Nobody Was Talking About

Standard viscose dominates the market. But here is what the label never tells you:

Harsh chemical manufacturing — produced with sulfuric acid and carbon disulfide, leaving sulfur residues and chemical odors directly against your skin
Weak when wet — loses up to 50% strength when soaked, causing tearing and fiber residue on your face
Rough on skin — irregular fibers create micro-friction that irritates and aggravates sensitive skin
Sensitization risk — chemical residues that trigger allergic reactions over time
Reusable towels trap bacteria — damp cloth towels are a breeding ground for bacteria that transfer directly back onto freshly cleansed skin, undoing your entire routine

And pure cotton? Cleaner — but still leaves lint, creates surface friction, holds moisture too long, and is 20% less breathable than Lyocell. Cotton's slow moisture release also means it stays damp longer — giving bacteria more time and opportunity to multiply.

The Answer: Lyocell

After months of rigorous materials research, guided by a scientist's standard, the answer was clear: Lyocell — a next-generation fiber used in premium medical and fashion textiles, but never before brought to Canadian disposable face towels.

Clean closed-loop process — zero sulfur, zero chemical residues, zero odor
2× stronger when wet than viscose — no tearing, no fiber residue on your skin
Microscopically round fibers — zero friction, zero irritation against delicate skin
20% more breathable than cotton — skin stays fresh and cool, never clammy
Strictly lint-free — nothing left behind on your face, lashes, or beard
A more hygienic surfaceLyocell's smooth fibers give bacteria fewer places to cling. Faster drying means no damp environment for them to thrive. InfiCare delivers a level of hygiene that no reusable towel can ever match. Every sheet is fresh. Every use is clean.

We then blended it with 20% pure cotton to add the one thing Lyocell cannot replicate alone: a soft, plush cushion that feels genuinely luxurious against skin.

80% Lyocell + 20% Pure Cotton.
Not a compromise. Canada's upgrade.
